Michael Rainey Jr. is an American actor. He is known for his role as Tariq St. Patrick on the Starz series Power, a role he will reprise in the spin-off series Power Book II: Ghost. Rainey received numerous death threats resulting from his role as Tariq St. Patrick on Starz series Power.

Rainey was nominated in the category "Outstanding Performance by a Youth" (Series, Special, Television Movie or Limited Series) at the 49th NAACP Image Awards. The actor was also nominated at the NAMIC Vision Awards, 2018 for "Best Performance – Drama"
